Dalai Lama Reincarnation: Tibetan Spiritual Leader Says He Will Spell Out Own Details http://mys.tc/xk
Ah, what a pickle. The Dalai Lama is forced into a sort of silly dilemma where he had to cede political power to a PM, and now he is attempting to extricate chinese involvement in the picking of the next Dalai lama by either picking his own reincarnation BEFORE he dies or by destroying the role of the Dalai Lama at his death.
Do you think a break in tradition to preemptively name your own reincarnated successor would be inline with the tenets of Buddhism and the historical role of the Dalai Lama?
