Julian Assange: Statement on the Unauthorised, Secret Publishing of the Julian Assange “autobiography” by Canongate

Wow. This is a much different story than painted by the mainstream regarding the event. I just read another article stating he spent the 1.3 million dollar advance, and here he is stating that money went directly into an escrow acct he didn't authorize and he never got the money.

This is a great article displaying the nuances of law I get to see every once in a while as the son of a developer and business owner, grandson to an attorney.

Look how janky Canongate got once they realized Assange, through their own actions, didn't have the liquidity necessary to pursue the proper legal venues in a injunction due to copyright claim.

Fascinating. Do you work in publishing? How common are the exploits of CanonGate? Do you think these actions constitute ethical behavior?
