All this talk of cookies is making me hungry. Now the Feds want to examine claims that FB's persistent cookies are tracking them all over the web, which they admitted they were.
Facebook claimed it was done so for security purposes, but it seems this issue has been gaining notoriety ever since Germany started pressing legislation a few months ago to ban the Like button in Germany due to this type of behavior.
What do you think? Can we trust Facebook to guardian our information? Or does consolidation of so much data increase our exposure towards it being cracked and leveraged?
