Monkeys also reason through analogy, study shows http://mys.tc/x1
In a study published in the journal Psychological Science, two boffins, through testing of 29 baboons, conclude monkeys can leverage analogy towards solving problems without the use of language.
The study revolved around associations between paired object images on a touchscreen, and showed statistical probability the Curious Georges not only were able to learn to leverage analogies, but they re-learnt them again later at a faster pace.
Is this another bit of evidence towards my previous conclusions that apes may in fact be 'human'? What differentiates man from ape? We have documentation of culture, and now pre-linguistic analogous association. What is next?

Mystic Politics mission is to instigate debate on politics, religion, and science towards a more informed society. Our goals are increasing the authority of alternative media and citizen journalism- and to spotlight political corruption, government conspiracies, religion in politics, and the dichotomy of science and faith.
