RAND CORP Study: Closing Pot Dispensaries Leads to Increase in Crime

Ah the conspiracy theory 1-2 punch. Rand Corp releases a peer reviewed study indicating crime goes up as much as 60% in a .3-.6 mile radius around forcefully closed dispensaries.

Suck on that, conservatives! Of course the LA press is shuffling to write up refutations based on the testimony of cops and other big brother lackeys, but who is that going to convince, my grandparents?

The fact is that when you forcefully impact a local economy by shutting down popular businesses, the area worsens. News flash!

Something about vacant storefronts brings that underprivileged and blighted feeling out in people I guess. Makes you want to do some armed robbery, graffiti art, and general tom-foolery.

The article points out it probably has to do with less foot traffic, security cameras, and security guards. They probably aren't wrong.

What about the psychological effects on people who are stoked about the progressiveness of their government in allowing them to medicate themselves naturally and organically, just to have the door slammed shut and have to revert back to buying weed from that Puerto Rican dude that sketches out your old-lady?

Aha! Might the closing of Marijuana dispensaries cause a spike in "illegal" Marijuana sales??? hmmm?

Well whatever. Read the article from the Illuminati think-tank and give your opinion below via comment. Don't forget to +1 and share.
