What was the effect of this and our other occupations in a time where we are on the brink of revolution and the economy is in the toilet? Why do xenophobic Americans cheer-lead while their parents & Grandparents who live off of social security are watching their pensions and retirement accts getting eaten away by inflation?
Is there such a disconnect that people will support actions of an imperialist war machine because the TV tells them it's okay? We are eroding posterity's ability to make a living while simultaneously passing on the debt and socioeconomic effects of these campaigns to them?
What can we do? Pass the 28th amendment banning corporate financing of politicians and reinstate glass-steagal and break up the oligopolist ascendance of american politics and finance! Only YOU can do it.
