Journalist fired for participating in #occupy protests on her own time.

Also mentions the NPR firing of a corespondent for their #ows participation, which is interesting because what is the conflict for a government employee to protest a corporation that is supposed to be non-associated? lol. Their firing of her enunciates the link between government and banks which is the reason for the protest to begin with...

Do you think journalists should be considered journalists 24/7? Does their private activities, however newsworthy, fly in the face of journalistic ethics so few follow anyways?
