Journalist fired for participating in #occupy protests on her own time.
Also mentions the NPR firing of a corespondent for their #ows participation, which is interesting because what is the conflict for a government employee to protest a corporation that is supposed to be non-associated? lol. Their firing of her enunciates the link between government and banks which is the reason for the protest to begin with...
Do you think journalists should be considered journalists 24/7? Does their private activities, however newsworthy, fly in the face of journalistic ethics so few follow anyways?
How Occupy Wall Street Cost Me My Job
Mystic Politics mission is to instigate debate on politics, religion, and science towards a more informed society. Our goals are increasing the authority of alternative media and citizen journalism- and to spotlight political corruption, government conspiracies, religion in politics, and the dichotomy of science and faith.
