From Jehovah's witnesses to Muslims we see a systematic sexual abuse of children that directly contradicts the moral and scriptural teachings offered by their respective holy texts.

How can these institutions hope to have a future unless they openly address and end the problem, instead of continuing to hide and suppress the abuse by shunning the victims and absolving the abusers in private ecclesiastical kangaroo courts?
