Deepak Chopra and Leonard Mlodinow have a new book out entitled War of the Worldviews, which goes into the overlap, or lack there of, of science and religion, of logic and spirituality.

Was there a Creational fiat that preceded what we describe as a big-bang, before the standard model emerged, and thus outside of our ability to apply science towards understanding it?

Is there an extra-corporeal causality of consciousness, or is it just a bio-chemical after effect, a narrative the brain creates out of data to reconcile time?
