As More Police Wear Cameras, Policy Questions Arise

Cameras on officers may create as many problems as they seek to solve, or at least introduce more privacy concerns for people who's homes may be filmed during policy visits, or who's information may be scrutinized when the bulk of tapes are made available to the public, whether the filmed were guilty or not.



Does the comfort of having the actions of police monitored in case of excessive force or other abuses of authority offset the privacy risks?
