Very good points in this article. Should the abuses of the IQ sorting evidenced in the eugenics motivated sterilization and murder of people who scored low on IQ tests dissuade us from furthering testing and understanding of how a more successful brain functions?
In a PC -oriented society, is appreciating the cognizati and studying what differentiates them pandering to elitism and perpetuating a cultural stratification based upon cognitive ability?
Does testing for normative IQ along races offend us so much that we would forego testing which might debunk the idea?
And finally, does arbitrarily using euphemisms like SQ or EQ soften the distinction of being less aware?
