Doing Justice to Agnosticism

Far from the wish-washy fence-riding that extremists, either atheistic or religious, would portray it to be, the first wave of self-avowed agnostics had teeth and didn't shy away from contention or controversy.



The only thing they shied from was intellectually dis-honest claims of empirical knowledge, which many to this day still attempt to make, while they cajole and excoriate those who remain skeptical of either position.
