Representative Democracy

"When a representative democracy is led by a group of representatives who support a foreign policy based on murder, torture, secret rendition and the indefinite detention of foreigners, the victims of all that murder, torture, secret rendition, and indefinite detention will have every reason to believe that the public for whom the representatives were elected to represent are the ones most responsible for all that murder, torture, secret rendition, and indefinite detention for which the victims have every right to try and stop."
